Drilling Waste Management Services, a Combined Services Approach:
At Universal Fluid Services (UFS) experience has taught us that numerous and significant inefficiencies are created when separate companies oversee the fluids, solids control, transportation, and on-site storage aspects of a drilling operation. Consistent and effective communication between customers, office personnel, and field representatives produces the most successful outcomes. This is most easily accomplished through a single point of drilling program management.
As an extension to our Application Excellence* approach, Universal Fluid Services, LLC (UFS) offers the Fluids/Waste Management Performance Package* solution. Serving as the single point of contact for drilling fluids application and waste management activities, your Universal Fluid Services Drilling Fluid Specialist will ensure optimal performance of your drilling fluid system and waste management activities.
Specifically, UFS personnel will manage and oversee the following aspects of the drilling process.
- Drilling Fluids – pre-implementation analysis and selection of the most ideal fluid system. During drilling, continuous monitoring to ensure peak performance
- Solids Control – pre-drilling site evaluation and coordination with our solids control affiliate to design the best combination of equipment to maximize fluid cleaning while drilling. During the course of the job, UFS Solids Control personnel will ensure that the solids control equipment is performing as expected.
- Vacuum Trucks – UFS will arrange to have vacuum trucks deliver all liquid materials from our facility to the wellsite and to transfer the fluids from pad-to-pad. UFS will negotiate pricing for the haul off oil-based cuttings on a per load basis.
- Corrosion Control – Upon request, UFS can provide a control and testing plan as part of the scope of the project.
- Mobilization/Demobilization – UFS will arrange for and oversee mobilization /demobilization of solids control equipment, fluid storage tanks, and other associated equipment.
